Save the Snakes
Save the Snakes is an organization with a mission for protecting and teaching about snakes. They follow a community-based approach, teaming up with companies, organizations, and individuals to “foster support for snake conservation”. They offer volunteer opportunities and provide information on careers in wildlife conservation.
The Center for Snake Conservation
The Center for Snake Conservation is based in Colorado, but their efforts are global. They seek to support sustainable snake conservation through habitat protection, outreach, community action, and citizen science. To get involved with the organization, you can participate in their snake count, take surveys on snakes, or volunteer.
Advocates for Snake Preservation
Advocates for Snake Preservation “use science, education, and advocacy to promote compassionate conservation and coexistence with snakes”. Their vision is for a world in which snakes are “respected and appreciated, instead of feared and hated”.
